2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your community.

This was a nice size condo type place, a bathroom in each bedroom, nice open kitchen and sitting/dining area. It was very clean, beds comfortable with lots of amenities. Pool was nice with a shower area to rinse sand from beach. Walk to beach was about 5-10 minutes which we used to get our steps in. Community had lots to do; beautiful walking path around golf course, bike rental, tennis and pickleball courts and a shopping area. Pickleball courts were full often but we were told you could pay a fee for a time slot. Host answered phone calls and questions immediately. Would stay again!

We had a wedding in Charleston and this location was close, but still right in the beach. It made a great long weekend stay. The check-in was simple and the checkout was the easiest list I've ever had from a vrbo. The ac worked beautifully for our Colorado family that's not used to SC humidity!

Condo was nice and comfortable for a family vacation. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. Liked being close to the community pool. Enjoyed the pretty community grounds and lagoons. Something to clean floors with would’ve been helpful. Had some issues with a few items not being cleaned in the unit. Host was very responsive to issues and concerns.
