Our room was the type of room with a shared bathroom for 2 people. The room and location were more than adequate in terms of price-performance.

Great place, friendly staff, would recommend

Super nice staff, clean, very cozy place. Bathroom is very clean and so are the rooms. The laundry service is great, they wash and dry it for you. Really friendly staff.

The soap in the bathroom ran out multiple times, so did the toilet paper (though it was quickly restocked). The baths only have a curtain which is just wide enough to block the view to the toilets.

Wouldn't recommend to FLINTA solo travelers

It was quite clean and small, the staff was very friendly and the location convenient.

I was happy I stayed in the female dorm because the men were very weird and tried to approach me inappropriately. I didn't feel safe as a female solo traveler. Also because the women's bathroom was basically open with no door that could be locked and it was bordering the common area.

Amazing place to stopover and enjoy Hamburg vibes.

The location is great and esay to access from all the city by public transport. Directly located at Berliner Tor - 1 stop from the main train station Hbf. There is a Kebap Store directly next to the door and asian Supermarket. Great view to the S-Bahn and city! Nice stuff, smooth check in and late check out which makes a one night stay really comfortable.

OK Hostel to stay overnight or two.

Train and bus station right outside. 10mins walk to the central train station. Café and asian grocery right outside. There's a fridge you can put your food. Theres a small kitchen (but not really look clean) The guy working there was helpful, we got to leave our bags in their little bagage room while waiting for our room to be clean since we arrived early in the morning. Our room is perfect for us 3 (Room #17) no fan in the room, its quite warm in the summer but u can open the window. Shared toilets and showers were OK. Its for both men and women with doors. But if you're not comfortable sharing it like that, do not book this.

You can hear the noise from outside. Our room was ok clean otherwise It looks messy and not clean in the building. The elevator smells bad and dirty. It's warm in our room. No fan, but you can open the window. They charge you for everything extra that is not included in your booking. So make sure you bring the things u need that is not included in your booking!

Cheng was very helpful. He waited to let me in past check in hours.

The kitchen needs some cleaning. For me it was not an issue since I wasn’t planning to cook. It s just a review/ Comment for other travelers. If you are not o picky, this is the place for you. Inexpensive, close to the citi center, close to Public transportation.

Cool.

I booked this hostel for one night. My mother and I had one room with two separate beds. The hostel is very conveniently located right next to the metro or bus stop. The toilets and showers are divided into cubicles. My mother said that the shower works in principle everything is fine. The staff is good. The young man at the reception told us where to go and what to do, he was friendly. We were satisfied with the dormitory room! Thank you for such service from the staff.

There was only one remark, we didn't have towels in the room.

Heart room but as sad Cleaning

We liked very much the staff in the reception - welcoming, helpful with f.ex. storing luggage after checkout. We also enjoyed very much our private room - comfortable bed, clean, fresh bedsheets, pillows, duvets. It had a decorative picture 🖼️ on the wall of a beautiful Hamburg motive.

CLEANING. Sadly, this bad review has to be given - In our opinion, there's room for A LOT of improvement!! We stayed for 4 days, and using the bathroom/toilets every day was a sad & uncomfortable affair: No trace of CLEANING whatsoever: We saw the equipment, but never saw it in action/never saw proof of it being used. From Monday, check in - Friday, checkout: same spots on floors, old dirt, same paper/waste left behind in conors of toilet stalls, strong smell of urine. Sink, mirrors, wall: same spots/hair, no trace of cleaning. We were, honestly, left with a feeling of being treated with no respect because of this. I'm sure this is not the intention of this lovely hostel & it's owners. I hope you will take this into consideration 💙

A value for money hostel that was perfect for a one-night stay and well connected to where we needed

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the facilities were functioning and clean.

The corridor/stairwell up definitely smelled off. The beds could be a bit comfier.

Cheap option for a low standard sleep in Hamburg

It's a cheap option for a short staying that doesn't require more than just sleeping for the night. UBahn entrance is directly in front of the door. Bathrooms and showers were rather clean compared to the rest of the hostel.

The kitchen and common areas are very dirty. All rooms are mixed and are all occupied in majority by men. I would not recommend to FLINTA* and queer people. Area is rather doughy but the entrance of the Ubahn is directly in front of the door so doesn't require too much wondering around.

Although the staff were very nice, it's a big no for us coming back .

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms were small, not very comfortable, the wifi wasn't stable, there were no private bathrooms, although it said private rooms in the descriptions, and the shared facilities were not clean. For what it was the price was still not really that cheap. We paid around 590€ a night for ten people. No towels available.

It served what I needed: a short stay with a bed and a shower close to a train/metro station.

It is located really close to the central station. There is a train/metro station just outside the building where the hostel is located. For those who are using public transport, it is very practical and easy to move around.

The living room/common areas are not separated from the bedroom area. So when you come and go to the toilets or showers you have to pass by the common area. The smell of food coming from the kitchen is everywhere. There's a lot of stuff crammed everywhere.

The hostel seemed well organized. The shared dormitory room was clean and bright. The staff was helpful.

My only complaint is that the water temperature in the showers was not consistent.

The Staff was really helpful. My train back was really early, so they said I didn't need to take out the bed linen not to wake up everyone. My train was at 6:30. The Beds were comfortable. I had a good time there.

Good for a 1-night stay if you arrive by car and want to stay relatively close to the city center.

Quick check-in, very friendly staff, free parking, walking distance from a nice lively park and a delicious restaurant towards the city. Cheap and still relatively close to the city center. Nice main hall on the floor of the 2-bed bedrooms.

The beds and showers were basic (okay for a hostel I guess), and the door between the hallway and the staircase closed really loud when other guests arrived during the night.

Everything was ok

Hmm, it was an interesting experience... Place has a shady vibe, but everything was perfectly fine. The bed and bathroom are ok, but the kitchen is pretty dirty. You get free tea, which is nice. The owners were cool and helpful. Location is ok, 2 stops by train to center. It wasnt that bad, but a little weird.

It is more of a temporary stay for people who work there, than a travelling people hostel, but people were actually mostly really nice and cool. Mostly men, not that many girls.

Disappointing

Personal was nice and the location is great - only one station from main train station with U-Bahn or 15 minutes walking.

Sadly I’m really not satisfied.. needed to book another hotel for the second night, because it was so cold. Heating was not working nearly at all - I was working in the room for some hours - I was shaking. Also the windows were not the best, so you have a nice fresh breeze directly in your head while sleeping. The room in general was not looking nice - I understand, that it’s really cheap option to stay, but you can wash the walls or at least make a white colour on it after it starts to look used. I’m sorry.
