The check in process was a bit difficult. It was concerning that they asked for payment through a private email and not through the booking.com email, as it came across that it may have been a scam.

Poor check in experience asked to go to unidentified house to know on a door no reception clearly labelled had to call them to ask whether this was the “correct” house to pick up keys from. It would have been better to get the key code to a locker that asking guests to manage this complex and difficult (for foreigners travelling with no local mobile phone) to navigate. The house had no hot water upon arrival which the host agreed to rectify after few phone calls to them. Initially they suggested we make few runs outside the house with hot water kettle to fix the issue with the gas which was a strange suggestion to a guest that’s just paid 400 dollars a night and wants a hot water shower. When they did eventually come to fix the water we later discovered that the bed only has slim blanket and no extra blankets but the host stopped responding to our requests and we had to use our coats to sleep. Avoid!
