Great location and very easy walk to town and supermarket. good parking and gear storage. Very warm with fireplace. Very good wood supply.
Minor items: The dishwasher didn't always finish its cycle. It was still full of water when we arrived, and sometimes we had the same problem. No instruction manual for the dishwasher anywhere and the instructions in the house manual are too basic. For the price of the property the dishwasher was very cheap and didn't do a great job. We had a power outage (beyond the control of the hosts) and we had to plan around this - with the day changing. so we left the house for the day.

Very quiet spot but not too far from the centre of Tekapo. The views from the place are incredible and was a good little location to base ourselves from. Appreciated the fireplace and heating in the bedrooms which made a big difference.
We only used 3 of the rooms (4 people) so had space to put our bags in the last one but might get tight with more people.

Central location . Warm and modern
Dirty, old carpet. Filthy dishwasher ( I cleaned the filter) Scalding hot water in the bathroom. Door off its hinges in the kitchen. Hard bed in the room nearest the living room. Mismatched furniture. TV remote with corroded batteries. No second bathroom as advertised ( it has a shower room )
