Beautiful spacious apartment, privately situated and close to train station and town— bedding is a negative
The property was conveniently located, and spacious and very finely finished, with beautiful floors, windows, doors and exposed timber beams.
There was no top sheet for the bed. This was evidently done to save time and money for the host, but it is a real negative in my mind. Also, whereas the kitchen was generally well equipped, a toaster and salt and pepper shakers are cheap enough that they could and should be furnished. A microwave would greatly add to the utility of the kitchen. Automatic floodlights for when one enters onto the property from the door on the street would add to the safety. The walkway is dark and it would not be difficult for one to enter onto the property and be lurking in the bushes. That may be very unlikely, but adding automatic lights is not expensive or difficult.
