Great place terrible beds
The location
The beds they were awful, didn’t sleep well it was so uncomfortable. Bedding and pillows not great either. Not sleeping well has a negative impact on your holiday! I hope the owners take this on board as I would have made that a regular place to stay when in the Lakes if it wasn’t for the beds!!

Great location with parking could be an amazing place
The location was perfect the parking space was great the balcony over the river wow and the spacious apartment. Very quiet on a night.
Very very tired, shabby. unloved. There’s dog friendly and there is this place. Another Sykes property my 2nd time I won’t use them again. Just needs some TLC and a good handy man. Won’t return as the market has better to offer I’m sure.

Good property, great location, recommend for walkers, well equipped but don't expect fluffy comforts
Fantastic location, quiet, with a lovely little balcony that catches the sun in morning and evening, although only big enough for 2 people
The wire mesh on the outside stairs and balcony a bit of a trip hazard! The upstairs shower room is not for anyone over 5ft! however it did the trick lol

Perfect spot in Grasmere
The location of the property was ideal, right in the centre of Grasmere. The cottage was comfortable & very clean and perfect for what we needed it for.
The beds were not the comfiest but they were fine. The chicken wire covering on the decking was damaged creating a trip hazard which we had to be careful of.

Clean comfortable and good location centrally located with bonus of private parking place
The metal meshing on the staircase on the outside is loose in places and requires attention.

Location, space and facilities
Toilet’s ceiling upstairs is low but very spacious downstairs bath + toilet. Living room furniture could do with a deep clean but it is ok. I was a little bothered by the number of repetitive emails from the property managers but info was useful
