Fantastic location, quiet, with a lovely little balcony that catches the sun in morning and evening, although only big enough for 2 people
The wire mesh on the outside stairs and balcony a bit of a trip hazard! The upstairs shower room is not for anyone over 5ft! however it did the trick lol

The location of the property was ideal, right in the centre of Grasmere. The cottage was comfortable & very clean and perfect for what we needed it for.
The beds were not the comfiest but they were fine. The chicken wire covering on the decking was damaged creating a trip hazard which we had to be careful of.

The metal meshing on the staircase on the outside is loose in places and requires attention.

The location
The beds they were awful, didn’t sleep well it was so uncomfortable. Bedding and pillows not great either. Not sleeping well has a negative impact on your holiday! I hope the owners take this on board as I would have made that a regular place to stay when in the Lakes if it wasn’t for the beds!!
