L’emplacement de cet appartement est juste exceptionnel , dans cette station où le port donne accès par plusieurs compagnies à l’archipel Maddalena . Les plages à proximité à pied sont fantastiques, le centre ville accessible en 10 min à pied et le côté spacieux de l’appart avec la piscine font de cet appart , un lieu idyllique pour des vacances en famille ! Je reviendrai !

The rooms and main balcony were spacious and comfortable.
Storage in all rooms was very good - shelves and hooks in each of the toilet/shower rooms, wardrobes and bedside drawers in the bedrooms.
The kitchen was thoughtfully and well-equipped. Nice to have a washing-up kit and tea towel provided and hook to hang it on along with a hand towel. Also good to have some small bottles of still water in the fridge.
The shower in the ensuite of the main bedroom was excellent.
The location was perfect for us - peaceful and very walkable distances to the shops in nearby Via Razolli (eg Despar supermarket); the centre of Palau and La Sciumara beach which was no more than 10 minutes walk down a dirt track over the road from the main gate.
Tiziano was very helpful with advice by text and phone and his parents live close by and they were very helpful, patient and friendly. Tiziano's father was very helpful when we had problems with the door to the apartment (see below).
(1) We were unable to unlock the door to the apartment on three occasions: on our arrival at 10 pm, half-way through our stay and our 5th night when we got back from the town centre at 11 pm. This was frustrating and worrying for us. However, each time Tiziano's father willingly came to help and enabled us to get access with his patient determination.
You might want to access the link for the door-lock app beforehand to find out how to get from the main gate to the apartment itself. Tiziano has put a helpful set of photos in the app to show this - it's not obvious!
(2) If arriving after the Despar supermarket closes at 10 pm, you might want to ensure you have a few provisions to keep you going until it opens again at 8 am.
(3) While Tiziano's recommendations in the text that he sent after we arrived turned out to be excellent, it would have been good to have a street map, maybe marked up to show the locations of Despar and the Enoteca shop near it and the beaches and anything else that might be useful. I eventually, on my second attempt, got a good street map from Tourist Information with the street names clearly included and it even has the dirt track to the beach marked up on it.
(4) Would be good to know exactly what has to be recycled and in which containers from the start of your stay. The GIF set of photos Tiziano sends on the penultimate day shows where to take rubbish & recycling, but we didn't know all the categories and the wheelies in the "cage" in the garage weren't clear on where to put the rubbish and the food recycling.

Tiziano was an excellent host. Very welcoming. The apartment is a very short walk from two beautiful beaches. Our favourite was Scuimara. Very spacious living area and air con in the main room and bedrooms. We had a great time. Grazie mille!
