The worst hostel I ever had and I am quite experienced traveller

1. Dirty 2. Room was dark (no light), extremely small - no place for luggage, linen was not changed until I requested to do so, room was located that bad bathroom and chemicals smell went into the door 3. Room was different from those booked. Room was booked only for women however the men had been placed. Room was a worst possible place for living, i bet any prison room is bigger and much better

Got a female dormitory, but it was only men?? Don’t really feel like this is okay when stated its for women. Towel and sheets were dirty with spots. Bathroom was dirty and didn’t even have a towel or paper to dry your hands

Location was great, price was good, staff was very friendly. We stayed for 10 nights and survived but would not do again. If you have cleanliness standards this probably isn't for you.

I think there's only 3 staff members total and it's open 24 hours a day meaning these girls are way overworked. That could explain why everything is so gross. You see them cleaning but never smell cleaning products, it might just be water. There's just an overall dirtiness to the place. The refrigerator in the kitchen is terrifying they definitely need a better system for cleaning it out, also the stove knobs are caked in grime. Showers all have black mold on the ceiling and there is only 1 hot water heater for all of the showers meaning they are always cold. The sheets do not fit the beds (it appears that the elastic on the fitted sheet is all stretched out). Our sheet popped off every time we sat down. It's pretty gross that there is no waterproof protective sheet on the mattresses either, it's just bare dirty stained mattress. All of the budget private rooms are in the lobby, so they are pretty loud. Pictures online are definitely photoshopped. This was our first hostel experience, so I really didn't realize how bad it was until we had a tour meet inside of another similar priced hostel that was stunning and didn't smell like hot trash (the lobby trashcan itself wafts throughout the room no matter if they change the trash bag there is clearly something rotting at the bottom.)

Fine room, gross shared bathroom, pretty good location.

There was an indoor courtyard area that was kind of cool and there was a really nice cafe next door. Close to a big metro station

The bathroom was pretty disgusting. There were specks of mold all over the ceiling. There was also no shower drain, it was just a hole. The walls of our room were super thin, there was a window in our room that let a lot of light in from the hallway all night long. The one staff member that was there the entire time did not speak any English at all. Lastly, we had to pay for an extra night and could not get a refund. Our flight had been changed completely and we wanted to switch our Sunday night to Friday night and I emailed several times and never got a response. Then they made us pay for the extra night anyways.

The female dorm room was only 2 beds, but I’ve seen bigger broom cupboards. They wouldn’t give a key, so the room was open all the time to everyone and it didn’t have lockers so was insecure.

In the first room we got, the door couldn’t lock. The staff didn’t believe us and took 20 minutes for them to come try it at figure out we were telling the truth. They offered us to downgrade with no refund, which didn’t seem like a very good deal. We kept inquiring about the other visibly vacant “double superior” rooms, like the one we had booked, but they gave all kinds of excuses like the system was down etc., before a cleaning lady chimed in and had the receptionist help us because my girlfriend is mexican. So he let us switch to a room with a lockable door, of the tier we had paid for. Great. Except the new room didn’t have neither windows or AC.

Bedbugs, dirty rooms, pictures dont match my booking and some of the staff is rude.

Location was ok

The room I got was not the one I booked in the site and did not match the photos. June is Mexico is rainiy season but its humid and hot and the room didnt have a fan and if open the windows the mosquitoes enter the room. The blinds were broken so no privacy, it was dusty and the floors were a bit dirty but the ABSOLUTE WORST WERE THE BED BUGS. At 2 am I was working on my computer(btw the internet is not reliable) and the beadboard had like small and large bedbugs. I went to the staff and he kindly helped me moved my stuff to another room but I was not able to sleep properly. Next day I was told the supervisor would show and he didnt, I had to call Booking to get my refund as Im sure they would have not done it without my complain to Booking. The kitcken doesnt have enough supplies and the bathroom in the first floor is horrible. Staying in this place was a nightmare and some of the staff gaslights you and act as like they were doing you a favor...I suggest you find another place

Staff is un professional I stay 7 night I say Your receptionist 2 days before when my reservation end Please I stay 5 night more Please give me new reservation He say ok no problem I'm here And after one day casually i asked how much cost next 5 nigts He say we don't have any room I say i have still room 2 nights more But you say not more after 2 days How possible Your staff is irresponsibles and not know about English Your clean lady i say after 5 night please clean my room She said no I say room is not clean properly when i get room Here is hair of womens And not perfectly clean She say Its not big problem And go Your staff is not good and not friendly

The location is good. 24 hour reception is also a plus.

The hostel was to "WOKE". Europeans were living in the hostel instead of renting an apartment. Everyone who was a long term guest insulted me not realizing I am a Mexican Citizen who could speak perfect English and other languages. The hostel didn't have a sign so it kind makes me wonder.

There was no warning about how loud it would be, we could completely hear conversation in front of the building below her window throughout the entire night motorbikes cars, people having sex in the next room it was a completely sleepless night. And, our room was soooo cold

Good value, good location, but just know that you are not getting top-notch facilities.

Great location, good value for money, and the rooms were comfortable. Certainly a very good deal to get your own room in an area like this. Staff were also helpful and accommodating.

The bathrooms are not the cleanest, and the walls feel like they are made of cardboard. You will hear EVERYTHING that goes on in rooms next door. Still, if you don't mind this, it is a great value for money.

Tiene muy buena ubicación con camas cómodas que no pasamos frío y la habitación que nos tocó fue acogedor solo que estaba un pequeño por el precio para ser dos personas con cuarto propio

Las regaderas no estaban del todo limpias y había una que estaba tapa y tenía todo el charco de agua y definitivamente tiene mucha agua caliente pero no baja el agua fría y al menos yo me costaba mucho bañarme porque me andaba quemado

La ubicación es buena, cerca del metro y puntos de interés.

Solo hay un wc, 2 regaderas y no funcionan bien. Los lockers para pertenencias son miniatura, con trabajo cabe una mochila muy chica. No hay contactos en la habitación para cargar el celular durante la noche.

Que conservarán mi llave cada vez que salía , me da desconfianza que puedan entrar a mi habitación cuando ya están mis cosas . Y que la chica de recepción nunca estuviera en su lugar de trabajo incluso cuando llegamos no había nadie que abriera la puerta o contestara el teléfono nos tuvimos que meter cuando alguien salió y subí piso por piso buscando un empleado para poder hacer check in aunque la actitud de la chica es muy servicial

Ya es la segunda ves que le hospedó ahí, la primera todo 10/10 por eso fue qué regrese pero esta ocasión la cama tenia chinches y no 1 ni 2, encontré 5, me picaron horrible y tuvimos que pasar la noche sentados sobre la cama ya qué era de madrugada cuando paso eso y teníamos inseguridad de salir a buscar hotel.

Olía a desagüe, un solo baño para mucha gente, no hay utensilios para planchar ropa, no habia agua para beber en esos 3 dias que quede y tuve que irme porque el lugar era horrible. El cuarto que me toco era incómodo, no me podía moverme dentro del cuarto, la escaleras para la litera hacian que me dolíñieran los pies, el personal de la recepción era grosera. Que suban fotos de los cuarto que tiene disponibles con el precio que ofrecen. Pésimo lugar. Nada recomendable

La habitación estaba muy bonita limpia y cómoda Me pareció preciosa el espejo era tan bonito la cama estaba a gusto pasé un poco de frío por la temporada, pero no importa, tiene una gran vista la avenida y está muy fácil llegar

Me pareció un poco incómodo que pedí una habitación junto al balcón y las persianas no cerraban bien entonces me daba la impresión de que me estaban observando desde afuera sin embargo el vidrio es polarizado y no se veía eso es lo que yo me sentía observada. Además ese día una persona estaba haciendo un desastre porque según él lo estaban secuestrando y hasta fue la policía, estuvo rarísimo, pero estoy segura que tal vez estaba drogado o algo así.

La ubicación.

El colchón para dormir está en pésimas condiciones. Hundido, viejo e incómodo. Justo ese día a otro viajero no le respetaron su reservación y el hostal quería cancelar así nada más, dejándolo a la deriva. Yo me fui del hostal y creo le dejaron mi espacio hundido y en pésimas condiciones para dormir.

Nos dieron una habitación que nada que ver con las fotos, ruidosa al lado del área común de la entrada principal, si no era el timbre para abrirle a un huésped, eran los huéspedes hablando a todas horas, se sentaban a trabajar desde las 6am haciendo llamadas.

La ubicación es muy buena. El pequeño lobby es lindo, podría ser para trabajar o simplemente pasar el rato.

Solo hay un sanitario por piso, hay más de tres cuartos por piso y un solo sanitario. Me parece insuficiente.

La hubicacion

Las sábanas estaban sucias de fluidos sospechosos, no hay privacidad, las persianas son transparentes, en baño está muy sucio, le falta bastante mantenimiento. Cuando pedimos cambiar de habitación por la ventantana que estaba habierta y que daba a las escaleras, nos dijeron que colocarían una cobija con unas ligas y unos clavos.

Decepcionante

La habitación no es como se muestra en la foto, demasiado pequeña y no tiene privacidad ya que se encuentra junto al lobby y el muro es de tablaroca por lo que el ruido en las mañanas no te deja descansar.
