About this house rental
Unwind and enjoy the “Old Florida” life at this luxury Alligator Point Bay home with Audubon-like Sanctuary views from EVERY window. Surrounded by a tidal estuary, the sunsets are evenly matched by beautiful sunrises. Bald eagles, osprey, white squirrels and dolphins are common sights in this private “island” community. Launch the complimentary kayak or paddle board directly from the bank into the bay or fish from the dock at the end of the street! Just a 5 minute drive to 6 public beaches.
The space
This home is spacious with almost 3,000 square feet, soaring ceilings, tastefully decorated inside and large outdoor balconies. The stately home sleeps up to 12 people and features a fire pit, grill, hammock swings, and more! Enjoy peaceful water views from EVERY window!
With two living rooms and two master suites (one on each floor), the space is perfect for large families! There are two bathrooms on the main floor and two on the top.
Sip coffee in the hammock swings on the top balcony while enjoying the soothing sights of nature. Build backyard fires under the moon and starlit sky or take in the beautiful sights of Alligator Bay while enjoying the outdoor shower.
The home features an inflatable kayak with two standard size life jackets. Both can be launched directly from the front yard into the canal that leads to Alligator Bay. Please use at your own risk during appropriate water and weather conditions.
Just one hour from the Florida Capital, two golf courses within 20 minutes, surrounded by marinas, rivers, wildlife refuges and off coast fishing charters. This property is one of a kind! 21 Palms Kayak Rentals, located just down the road from this home, offers single and tandem kayaks and paddleboards for every level of experience, and they can deliver.
Other things to note
Alligator Point is a residential neighborhood with no commerce (groceries, gas, etc), shop on the way before crossing the Ochlockonee bridge less than 10 minutes away. The Tiki Bar, famous Angelo’s Seafood, Trident's, and Seinyard are four great water front restaurants less than 10 minutes away (check hours online and see my Guidebook for more recommendations).
Pets are absolutely welcome, but pet fee must be paid. Thanks!

Overall it was great home for a family weekend trip. Spacious home and very quiet, relaxing location.

Wife and I spent a long weekend here and loved it. The house is excellent for large families because of not only bed count, but the kitchen and living room is very open and inviting. Even though it was just her and I, the house felt cozy and perfect on the main floor. We spent the mornings drinking coffee on the top deck in the swings.
At night, be ready to listen the best thing about this house: nothing. You can’t hear a main road, cars, restaurants, night life. Just the wind blowing through the trees. I thankfully brought firewood for the fire pit and highly recommend it. The house is absolutely to itself and secluded with the next neighbor easily half mile away.
The host was excellent and responsive. This is definitely a house we will come back to and recommend to others.
