Minutes from App Ski Mountain! Welcome to Hillside Hideaway, a one-of-a-kind container home located between Blowing Rock and Boone! We welcome you to stay in our unique property and get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Enjoy peaceful evenings around the fire pit and melting away stress in the hot tub. All the conveniences of home, in a tranquil setting near so many area attractions: from hiking, skiing, mountain biking, the list goes on and on. Read on to see why this is the perfect spot for your next mountain getaway.
Our container home is surprisingly roomy! Hillside Hideaway is equipped to enjoy both the indoors and outdoors equally. Check out the floor plan in the photos to see the layout. We have stocked board games for all ages as well as large scale Jenga and Connect Four for outdoor fun! There is a picnic table out back for family meals together.
You will love the convenience and location our home has to offer. Once you`re at the property you will feel at ease in your own private backyard, yet close enough to so many local attractions without feeling car sick on windy roads.

Hillside Hideaway is centrally located between Blowing Rock and Boone with very easy access to most nearby attractions. If you`ve stayed in the mountains before, you know some properties can take 30+ minutes up and down windy roads making coming and going quite the event.

Really a great property. Close to Tweetsie (you can hear the train whistle at night which was cool!) close to blowing rock and Boone. The home had everything you could need. The rooms were spacious and everything looked great. Only downside was how cold it stayed on the second floor/living area and how everything echoed through the stairwell. Will definitely book again, but will be bringing a child gate for the stairs next time!
