This lovingly restored former gamekeeper’s cottage in the owner’s grounds, built around 1850, was once part of the local estate and now residing in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with stunning views across the Brede Valley. This cottage for all seasons has two wood-burning stoves, ideal for curling up in front of after a stroll through the Brede High Woods where you are likely to spot deer, and see the carpet of bluebells unfurl in the spring. Take a boat trip from Newenden and explore the River Rother, or a ride on the Kent and East Sussex steam railway through the glorious countryside to Bodiam Castle.
