Skyline Serenity Lower - Close to city and airport

The view from the accommodation was excellent. Facilities were perfect for what we needed. Overall it was a great place to stay.

The guests upstairs were a bit heavy footed, with them being up around 4am, woke us a little earlier than we had planned. Nothing to do with the host.

Washing machine, detergent, drying rack. Hair dryer is available although it is not listed in facilities. There's also salt, pepper, oil, tea, sugar, instant coffee so that's nice. View (although partly obstructed by tree). Patio. Rather quiet area not far away from Hobart by car. For 1 or 2 people nice option. Wifi is ok, used it for e-mail, research, works on patio as well. Didn't stream anything so don't know if that's possible. Neither good nor bad, just unexpected so letting others know: Balcony over the patio is no protection against rain, so don't leave anything outside that shouldn't get wet. When cooking, turn on the exhaust hood BEFORE turning on the hotplate otherwise you are probably setting off the smoke detector right above the hotplate.

Cleanliness is medium. Did some cleaning myself to feel comfortable. Some information you only get after booking (not refundable), which I don't like. I'd like to have all the facts, that influence my decision, so I'm going to put it here for others to use: Regarding on-site parking: very narrow, steep & winding driveway, so park on the road and walk If you stay there on Mondays you're asked to wheel the bins out on to the main road. No fun, uphill with full bins, especially when it is not your garbage. Which brings me to the next topic. Regarding the entire place is yours, upstairs is another unit, you can hear every footstep, if someone's staying there, otherwise it is quiet here. If you are travelling as a group: There are not enough chairs for 4 people, only 2 desk chairs (at the work desk in each room) and 2 chairs outside, still only a little side table outside, so no changes since last year. Only Queen beds, no lounge, so probably a little bit (too) cozy for 4 people.
