Not wrong about the views - spectacular at night from the bedroom windows. Well located and everything we needed for a few comfortable nights in Hobart. Close to excellent MTBing in the Meehan Ranges if that's your thing, and also convenient for a Hobart - Mt Wellington shuttle - North South Tk - Glenorchy - bike path loop.
