Great location, 5 minutes walk into the main areas, 10 minutes walk to the lake itself. Lovely apartment, it had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment terrace is lovely to sit and have breakfast or evening drinks on. Great host.

Everything was perfect, no negatives at all.

Wonderful little flat with a big terrace in a very close proximity to the lake. Location is great. Exceptionally clean, with everything you need in the kitchen, gorgeous bathroom and spacious bedroom. Fantastic communication with the host. Thank you :-)

Nothing really. Maybe bit noisy from the street and people can see you on the terrace. Did not bother us that much.

Centraal gelegen in Como, direct naast het oude centrum. Heel compleet hotel-style appartement. Parkeren in parkeergarage om de hoek. Goede communicatie met eigenaar, we boekten last minute. Leuke paascake attentie. Terras aanwezig aan de voorkant.

The apartment itself was excellent - everything apparently nearly new including renovated building. But gaining access was an UNMITIGATED DISASTER. We were to receive a code to open a key-safe (method unstated) but none came. In continuous rain, we tried to contact somebody for TWO HOURS. Workmen working nearby for the owner tried to help, but to no avail. After TWO HOURS in the rain (my wife in tears), occupiers of the adjacent apartment spotted our predicament from their balcony and somehow indirectly contacted the owner, apparently out of the country. It is a daft arrangement to rely on a third party (Booking.com?) to provide the essential code, without providing access to the owner. That's not all. The day before we left, another couple arrived expecting to have the apartment. It had been double-booked with an overlapping day. They tried to get Booking.com to book and pay for a night in a hotel, but apparently were refused. What these poor people eventually did is unknown. Furthermore, this couple would also have been unable to access (arriving on their booked day) because they too had received no key-safe code. Further. There is an unmentioned "key hazard" on leaving the apartment for the last time. Renters are instructed to leave the two keys inside the apartment. If you did that and closed the door behind you, then you would be unable to open the heavy steel street door - and would end up trapped between the now-locked apartment and the unscalable street door. Another arrangement is needed. Otherwise it will happen to someone. No form of apology or compensation has been received. Don't use Booking.com for any complicated arrangement - they don't care.
