Amani Bush Escape

It was very relaxing and like a bushveld breakaway. The facilities were very decent and had everything that one would require to have a comfortable stay. Loved seeing more stars than in the city and the proximity to the zipline was great.

The pans were a bit dated and needs replacement, also not properly sized (too small), especially when you need to prepare breakfast for the family.

A wonderfully relaxing bush getaway that still offers the convenience of nearby shops for basic necessities. The unit and area are truly beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. While the accommodation is simple, it was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was absolutely fantastic — incredibly friendly and welcoming. She gave us excellent recommendations for places to visit and also warned us about the mischievous baboons and monkeys in the area. Fortunately, we were lucky enough not to have any unexpected visits from them!

The entire estate appears to operate off-grid, so it’s worth being mindful of electricity usage. The unit has a smaller solar system, which means high-power appliances such as hairdryers, heaters, and portable air conditioners cannot be used. However, it's really not that big of an issue.

It’s away from the busy world and very quiet with proper peace of mind.

Gravel was long, no door for upstairs and no electricity.

Location

The solar system was not working and the Chalet is in need of repair. The host was very helpful and made a lot of effort to assist with the failed solar battery. But the battery did not last and the lights did not last more than a few hours. It defeats the purpose when you plan a peaceful Getaway and keep having to contact the host to assist. I would not recommend this unit and would actually like to request a partial refund.
