Ifenwenzi bush Chalet

Lovely peaceful place. Enjoyed the bird life!

Water was very brown, beds are hard and frying pans need replacing. Kitchen could do with a few more utensils such as a peeler and a grater. The fridge is like a freezer and is not easy to use. Its also mostly off grid which is not a problem but we didn't know.

Lovely breakaway from the city. Very rustic and in nature

There is an outdoor shower which we could not use as it was raining. I dont like using a bath so that was the only downfall. Bats flew into the property and frogs invaded after the rains but we managed to get them out eventually. (We understand this is a bush stay domt get me wrong) The front door also did not lock from the inside which was a bit concerning as we were only girls. The kettle had a stench but after inspection, it seems like something has crawled in and died. We boiled water in a pot though, which was okay. A new mop would come in handy. The one outside could not be used in the house.

Our host went out of her way to make sure we were cared for and comfortable. Wish she could host every holiday we go on.

Would have liked atleat one plug to charge our phones instead of driving to the main building everyday. Due to business, this was more uncomfortable than originally thought. The pictures also gave me the impression that we were closer to the pools than we actually were.

Atmosphere is good

There's no electricity n the beds r not comfortable n the chalets r very dirty
