best breakfast-take-away for my early hiking tour!

The service by the property manager was excellent. Good communication to ensure we found the location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Parking.

The location can be slightly difficult to find but since the manager was in touch with us on the phone, it was fine.

Access to table and chairs in garden. Short walk to town centre but down steep steps. Access to Pekoe trail

They provided liquid hand soap and other toiletries which is not very usual in a lot of accommodations in Sri Lanka. Hatton is cool so it was fine without AC. The staff helped with bags and offered our driver a room.

We booked a room with two double beds but when we arrived we were initially given a smaller room with just one double bed. The staff cleaned the other room swiftly and gave us the correct room. They quoted us 1800 rupees per person for breakfast which is already more expensive than most hotels. When we checked out, the staff attempted to charge us more (2200 rupees). Breakfast was purchased by staff from local shops rather than made on site. The towels and duvet cover had visible dirt marks. One of the duvets was ridiculously long with a much shorter duvet cover. The room could have been cleaned better if it weren’t so rushed. Noise: We could hear call to prayer at 5 am.
