Waou Best V Madrid Rio

The place was very spacious and clean, easy to get to, and hosts were very responsive. It was perfect to travel with friends as we each got our own room and bathroom. There was a washing machine which was very helpful. It was also significantly cheaper than similar places in the area.

There was a weird odour in the place, almost like mildewy. Wasn’t terrible but definitely didn’t smell great. Although on the map the place looks close to the old town, it’s actually on the bottom of a steep hill so it’s quite a climb to get to the touristy areas. However there are several bus stops nearby if needed.

It was a very spacious place, perfect for families. The beds were very comfortable, and the amenities were well thought out. Everything was in order.

Everything was great, the host was very responsive and helpful, the location is walking distance from everything you might want to see in Madrid. The neighborhood is safe, it has markets, cafes, burger king, and multiple bus stops next to it for every direction. The facilities were new, clean, 2 bathrooms which was great for 4 people getting ready in the morning. Would definitely return again.

The main door is smart door (I have since learned that this is the case for most apartments in Madrid it is not only for this property), this means the door will be locked only when it has power. If the power goes out the door is no longer locked. (Again this is not a reason not to book this property as most of them will have this issue, just a general heads up)

The apartment is cozy and clean, close to the metro station, restaurant and supermarket, perfect for a family with kid.

There is no washing machine for dishes which is a big inconvenience.
