The place is reachable by bus, but unfortunately for us, the bus service was fully suspended for Easter, and we had to walk to the house- quite a walk, about 45 minutes from Livorno Centrale. The area is residential, and there aren't many dining or supermarket options nearby (especially if you're visiting on a Sunday or festival holidays).
The host Antonietta was kind, communicative, and made check-in a lot easier. She offered us lots of advice about the city, where to eat, and what to see.
The room was basic but clean. There were towels and toiletries, a well-equipped bathroom, and a good, fast WiFi connection. The kitchen was accessible too, if we wanted to cook meals, but we didn't need it as we stayed for just one night. Antonietta offered us coffee in the morning and chatted with us cheerfully. We took the bus the next morning to the centre, and then on our way back.
The only drawback was that the pipe in the shower wasn't fully supported by the metal covering, so the rubber pipe popped in the middle of my shower. Luckily, I was almost done. As soon as we mentioned this to Antonietta, she responded very kindly, said not to worry, and reassured that she would take care of it. Overall, we had a great stay, and left positive and happy! :)
