Beautiful, private, modern villa in a great location to explore Uluwatu beaches

From the moment I booked the property the communication with Ogik the manager was exceptional. He was able to answer any question for us, organise scooters to be delivered and even brought a small gift on Valentine's Day (which we'd forgotten about)! The accommodation was really great - big comfortable beds, very modern and private and the location was perfect for us to explore all the local beaches and Uluwatu Temple. We'd definitely like to come back to Masa Kini one day.

One of my favourite stays in Uluwatu.

I loved the earthy and rustic look of the villa! Menda was there to greet us and checked in on our arrival time a few days before. The villa is thoughtfully designed, down to the materials and texture. The shallow pool was a nice change from the usual pools in villas. Every toilet came with a diffuser and body lotion, shampoo etc. which felt luxurious as a traveller. Each room had a slightly different layout and they were all so cosy, perfect for a group of 6. The dining area was chic with the island in the middle, and we made use of the kettles and plates. I especially loved the small nook in the living area and the huge couch was comfy for us to lounge on. I wish my group had another day to just stay put and enjoy the villa.

The property was a tiny bit smaller than we expected but still cosy and beautiful nonetheless. We found it rather dark at night. I appreciate the energy saving measures of using timers but we weren’t able to swim or lounge by the pool area as it was too dark. It also made collecting dinner from the entrance a little scary. Personally, the open concept of the house is lovely but showering/using the toilet at night was a wee bit creepy as the external areas of the villa that the toilets open to are pitch dark. Perhaps a small light outdoors around the vicinity, or blinds for the toilets would be helpful!

Loved every minute at these villas

A wonderful experience at Masa Kini. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4. Daily cleaning and Lulu was a great host. Very friendly and helpful with any questions

The pool area is beautiful but could do with more seating or recliners to fully enjoy this area .

Fantastic experience

The staff made our holiday seamless. We had George the driver pick us up from the airport and he helped arrange a moped for us for the week. Our villa manager Kadek was really friendly and decorated the villa for Christmas to make it special, she checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and the cleaner Made, did a fantastic job making sure the villa was spotless every day. We Couldn’t have asked for a better villa experience.

Beautiful villa! Will definitely stay here again

We loved the size of the villa and how we all got out our rooms. We loved the design of this villa so much compared to others. The location was okay, it was an easy ride into town. I don’t recommend walking there. We loved our driver that they organised for us to get us and take us to our next location. The villa was very clean and felt expensive! The pool was very enjoyable, especially with the trees shading it at certain times of the day. All the staff were amazing and very helpful!

We didn’t love that the bathroom was open to the outside. Even with the panelling where the window would be, we felt it wasn’t as private due to there being other villas right next door that could hear and potentially see in. It also meant mosquitos would get into the bathroom and it was never cool in the bathroom. However, I feel like this is what a lot of bathrooms are like in Bali? Maybe just something I’d need to get used to :) I would have also preferred if the outside lighting turned off closer to 10:30pm as it was very bright coming into the rooms up until about 11:30pm which made it hard to get an early night.

Exceptional and beyond what my wife and I would have ever expected.

Overall it was the best experience I have had in yet in Bali .The architecture of the villa and design features are stunning .Location was great for my wife ,friends and I. It’s walkable distance to Uluwatu Surf villas. The villa was exceptionally clean. The villa manager, Kadek was on it! She organize our late night airport transfer, rental bikes and she even booked us at home massages. Would love to stay with this crew again and thanks for the wonderful experience!

La ubicación, la decoración y sobretodo el personal. Lulu fue increíble. Amable, se ofreció a cuidar a los niños y nos consiguió entradas para la danza del fuego para toda la familia. Hemos estado como en casa o mejor! Makasi Lulu 🙏🏽
