D'padang villa & Homestay

Fantastic place, highly recommend it, would definitely book again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, the pool is lovely, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is also very convenient — there are plenty of restaurants, cafés and a supermarket just across the road, so the fact that the property doesn’t have its own restaurant or bar was never a problem. There is also a fridge there, which is very convenient if you want to keep drinks or food. Overall, the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and I would happily stay here again.

The main downside for me was the Wi-Fi. It was quite slow and unreliable, especially if you need to work or upload/download large files. Fortunately, there is a great restaurant/coworking place just across the road with very fast internet, so I managed to work there without any problems. As mentioned in some other reviews, some of the walls look a little worn due to humidity. The manager explained that they repaint them, but the marks keep coming back because of the damp climate. It didn’t really affect my stay. One more thing worth knowing: on Friday night there is a reggaeton party at the Mexican place across the road, and the music is definitely loud enough to make sleeping difficult. But honestly, the easiest solution is to join the party 😄 It’s actually a really good reggaeton night, and the music finishes around midnight. So on Friday, go out for dinner, have a drink or enjoy the party, and come back afterwards.

Great location. Amazing staff. Clean. Comfortable. Highly recommended!

Location was great. Pretty central and close to Thomas beach. Three swimming pools. Good WiFi.

Bed linen was heavily stained, whilst clean, it didn’t inspire you to get into bed!! towelling was the same with the floor towel especially grubby! The room had superficially berm cleaned as there were hairs everywhere. Strange smell of curry permitted the room. There were no glasses no coat hangers or fridge or safe box.
