MGM Signature- Lazy River Jacuzzi Studio Stripview

Ultra confortable

Rien

I was able to check in earlier than expected (around 1pm, rather than the advertised check in time of 4pm). The room was very spacious, quiet, comfortable and had a good view of some nearby casinos. Valet process for dropping off and picking up my car went smoothly.

Room temp was slightly warm and there wasn't any way to adjust it. We ran out of toilet paper just before we left. I expected there would be more back up rolls stocked in the unit. The location was ok for accessing the Strip by the MGM Grand and New York New York, but a little further away from other casinos further north up the Strip.

Free valet parking, lazy river, location. Well equipped kitchen.

Carpeting in the room is showing age.

The studio is a very nice, clean, comfortable unit on the 25th floor of Tower 1, which is the closest Tower to the MGM pool. We enjoyed our stay here, especially the jacuzzi in the unit. Kitchen is basic but good enough for making breakfast or a simple dinner. Suggest owners provide coffee filters. Bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Location is a 15 -20 min walk to the strip (eg Paris casino), otherwise best bet is uber/lyft for about $10 to Bellagio.

The MGM resort nickel and dimes you on everything. At the main MGM pool, you have to pay $40 extra for a chair with umbrella which is crazy in the desert sun. They also sell you a tube for the lazy river for $35 unless you bring your own (you can get them for $1 at the local hardware store). If you order something on Amazon, they charge $10 per package delivered. And no outside food at any of the pools (ie you can’t prep food and take it down which partly defeats the point of having a kitchen).
