HE Villa Lola- Zenia

The location …. Not too far to walk to the supermarket or to paddy’s Irish bar. Kitchen was well equipped. So many types of glasses !! The canopy over the dining table on the patio was a fantastic addition. Thankfully it was there as it was so hot. Pool was lovely Large outdoor dining table and 8 chairs was good. We had several power cuts and unable to work the tv so the wats app chat was used and they were extremely responsive. Quick answers and solutions.

Some updating is required. The whole villa is a little tired. 2 of the showers were unusable due to the mosaic tiles coming off the floor and so could cut foot and not hygienic as the floor could not be clean given the plaster was exposed. The shower for the pool also did not work at all. Do not know if the lights around the pool worked as could not find the switch to turn them on. The information booklet was extremely poor and really did not give any information about the villa or its area and no local taxi numbers or emergency doctor etc. 2 of the bedrooms look like they had been refurbished and had new aircon and the other 2 were rather drab and in need of an update. Around the pool there was not enough sun loungers if there had been 8 of us. There was actually only 3 usable … the others were ripped as were 2 of the 3 sun chairs.

Location !! / self check in/ excellent communication via WhatsApp/ pet friendly/ large villa with 4 bedrooms with en-suites. Swimming pool gated- dept 1.5meters, sun beds available- plus outside loo. Large villa - family of 5 stayed . Very clean. English TV. outside bbq, coal. Large kitchen including a large utility room. 10 mins walking from beach 10 mins walking from Paddy’s Point. Very quiet road - easy to park outside the villa- even tho there’s a driveway?

Unfortunately, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. One of the bedrooms and en-suite could be updated, shower floor- mosaic tiles needs a little tlc - also, around the pool. Few improvements is required however, we would definitely return ! 8/10.

La ubicación en cuanto a proximidad de la playa está muy bien pero eché en falta comercios más cerca. La piscina muy bien, si vas con niños es una tranquilidad que esté vallada. Habitaciones muy amplias y todo muy bien cuidado. Un punto a favor que todas tengan su aire acondicionado y su ventilador.

Las camas eran algo incómodas, los colchones demasiado duros y algunas almohadas ya estaban demasiado usadas. Olía un poco a humedad en una de las habitaciones. Eché en falta una sombrilla en la zona de la barbacoa y un skimmer para limpiar la piscina.

Villa had everything that we needed. Everything about it was great.
