We were allowed to have an early check-in which was so convenient as we had a tour booked. We phoned to get the pass code for the key box. The location of the property is so convenient to walk to all the historical sites. Also it is close to bars and restaurants.

A really lovely modern apartment in a very old building, well converted. It has everything you need for a couple of days stay in wonderful Tomar. Great help from the host for parking, etc.. And if you do stay the portugese restaurant next door has really good food, friendly staff, and is much cheaper than the tourist traps by the river.
A slight damp smell which the AC dealt with (but probably also caused). Otherwise fantastic.
