Typical Portuguese house in a small village

A very well stocked mini-market is 900 m from the house in Carvalhal Grande.
The Templar town of Tomar is less than 10 minutes away by car, and there are all the shops as well as many tourist attractions, including the historic center and the convent of the Knights Templar (numerous documentation on site),
To visit around about thirty minutes by car: Fatima, famous pilgrimage site; Ourem, a pretty village and its medieval castle; the river beaches on the Zèzère river, and Constancia and the castle of Almourol on its island in the middle of the Tagus.
Between 30 mns and 1 hour: culture lovers will not miss the monasteries of Batalha and Alcobaça; the village of Obidos; the peninsula of Peniche; and the famous beaches of Nazaré (the big waves are in winter!)
Porto is 1h30, Lisbon 1h15.
