Nah am Bahnhof, nicht weit weg vom Zentrum

the room was spacious and well equipped. there was a kettle and a filter coffee machine and also a microwave and fridge. the bed was also very comfortable

the toilet was an inconvenience since it is located down 3 flights of stairs but definitely manageable

The proprietor could not have been more helpful, obtaining for me some war time diaries on line from Kew Archives and getting a cable to charge my phone when mine was failing. He was hospitable and friendly. However the lavatory is on the ground floor and the shower is on the attic floor. So there are some steps to go to the lavatory. I did that knowing all the other service he gave me was excellent, but would caution someone older using his attic. He was an exceptional host.

The place was nice, clean and spacious. There was a kettle, a microwave, a fridge and a coffeemaker. There was also a smart TV with some local channels and access to streaming apps and youtube. The owner was eager to help with anything I needed. It was short distance from the city center and also close to the train and bus station. It wasn't expensive, I got great value for the money I've spent.

The steps on the stairs were a bit short and/or steep, probably because it was an older building. This is not the best place for people who have trouble with stairs, or with mobility in general.
