Heaven in Hamilton

We were a party of three who stayed three nights in this charming, clean, quiet Victorian cottage perched above the banks of the Waikato River. The house offered plenty of room, a fully furnished kitchen, lots of kitchen and bath towels and a big covered terrace to enjoy the river view. Self check-in was easy and our hostess responded quickly with any questions we had. Path/road access to the river was nearby and we enjoyed long walks and bike riding along its miles of paved pathways through shady, scenic terrain. A large grocery store was a short 10-15 minute walk away, and restaurants, shops, bike rentals, etc. a short drive away, or a nice half hour peaceful walk along the river front. We depended on our feet and Uber to get around and had no problem.

There wasn't anything about our stay that we didn't like. If we are ever in Hamilton again, we would want to stay here.

A very comfortable house for a short stay.

3 key points - Well equipped kitchen for what I needed. Wonderful back deck for enjoying river views. Being able to park off the street was really appreciated.

Ideal overnight stay for us attending a Golf Croquet tournament and also supermarket.

Very handy to the Golf Croquet grounds at Claudlands Breakfast wasnt provided

Could have provided a pot mit.Couldnt properly clean fry pan with what was provided.
