About this house rental
Our home is nestled between the forest and the sea. The Garden Cottage is surrounded by woodland, a seasonal stream and ponds, a horse pasture, and of course abundant gardens. The tranquility here makes it easy to slow down. The beauty inspires exploration and adventure.
We are just a short walk to Fillongly Park with its trails through exquisite old growth forest and beautiful beach facing Hornby Island. Sunrise is breathtaking.
Our 1200sq ft Garden House is very quiet and private. Vaulted ceilings and huge windows give you plenty of space to speed out and relax.
The kitchen is fully equipped for big meals. It boasts a 4 burner propane range, air fryer/ convection oven, full refrigerator, microwave and much more.
The bathroom is also spacious with a sit-down shower stall and a view. Just put the window you can spot horses, deer, peacock, chickens and our seasonal ponds.
Our private parking area easily fits 3 vehicles with room to turn around. More parking spaces for your boat or other toys are close by, with lots of room to move.
We strive to provide fresh eggs from our flock of heritage chickens, fresh bouquets, and anything from our varied food and herb gardens.
Come play on the sea with Big Coast Adventures. Rent a kayak at Hornby Denman kayak rentals. Explore our local Corlan Vineyard with its organic award winning wines and fabulous brunch menu. Check-out the Joy of Walking Denman Island edition, to find maps to our variety of trails. Take a quick a day trip over to Hornby Island to explore Tribune Bay and Helliwell park. We strive to make your stay a fabulous experience.

Absolutely beautiful cabin and property. Keolynn is a wonderful host! We enjoyed the horses visiting at the window and the fresh tomatoes from the garden. Would definitely recommend!

chek-in was easy , all went well . kitchen facilities wi fi access were all good . a very nice and very peaceful place we plan to go there again . The hostess was very helpful , thoughful and nice lady .

Lovely little cottage filled with flowers. My grandson loved being able to make a fire & roast hotdogs & marshmallows. The cottage itself was a delight to stay in and very user friendly. COMFORTABLE beds! and the host was delightful.
