This beautiful Upper Garden View Suite is nicely appointed and the kitchen is fully stocked for those who love to cook. It offers a queen size bed in the loft, and a Murphy bed and sofa bed on the lower level, for up to 6 guests. Facing the adjacent park, you'll have lovely trees and flowering shrubs as your view. As a guest of Shorewater Resort, you'll also have direct access to one of the finest beaches on the east coast of Vancouver Island.

Qualicum Beach is located on Vancouver Island's east coast, offers a mix of natural beauty, outdoor activities, and local charm. Visitors can stroll along its sandy beach, explore the quaint village with its boutique shops and cafés, or visit the nearby Milner Gardens & Woodland, a tranquil garden with ocean views. Nature lovers can hike or bike in Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park or visit Horne Lake Caves for an underground adventure. The Qualicum Beach Museum provides insights into local history, while golfers can enjoy the scenic Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Course. It's an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway.

The location was perfect...close to the beach and across from the park. We enjoyed the privacy. The kitchen was good, except for a few things. It could use a new spatula, as the one in the drawer is melted. A large flat pan would be useful for heating up a pizza. Fortunately we were able to improvise with the tin foil. The kitchen light needs replacing, as it has a constant flicker. The bathroom toilet seat was very loose, as one clip seamed to be broken. I was happy it lasted the week. Our main issue was the front door. It appears that it was freshly painted without adequate drying time. The door and the frame are basically sealed together. The only way to open the door is to push extremely hard. On the inside, the lock casing is coming loose from the door. The only way to lock or unlock the door requires pulling hard on the handle so the lock can engage/disengage. This is a security issue. Upon inspection of the door frame, it appeared to have been forced open at one time. My husband works in construction and says all of this is an easy fix. Besides all this, the bed was comfortable so we got some great sleep. We would definitely come back providing all the maintenance issues were addressed.

Getting hold of the property manager was difficult and laundry pick up not timely at all. The unit itself was very good and convenient to other things providing you had a car.
