Delightful ground floor Newington flat

L’appartamento è molto accogliente e curato nei minimi particolari. La posizione è ottima e il centro si raggiunge facilmente con i mezzi di trasporto che funzionano molto bene a Edimburgo. Volendo si può raggiungere il centro anche a piedi.

I pavimenti non erano molto puliti. Ho dato comunque un punteggio alto perché cucina e bagni erano molto puliti.

The place itself was very clean and tidy. Plenty of clean towels and bedding provided with some nice little extra touches, also a nice garden space attached. There was one minor issue with the shower that was responsed too and promptly corrected. Also, the property is in a really good location, only 20 mins walk to the main part of edinburgh. Lastly a couple of minor suggestions for the smaller room with the tall bed, would be a fan as it got stuffy and a shelf for bits n bobs. Overall a good stay that I would recommend.

Prior to arrival I had a couple of questions and no response just the automatic messages which wasn't very reassuring considering this is my first time renting out a place through booking.com. I was concerned about being stuck away with no accomodation especially with an elderly parent. To say the least it is just common courtsey and felt that was unprofessional. Otherwise I would of given the place top rating.

Good location within easy reach of biases for the city and generally suitable for a short stay. Communication was responsive.

A number of operational details made the stay less smooth than expected. These included difficulty opening the lockbox on arrival, the need to replace a faulty toaster, a leaking shower hose, and some housekeeping issues such as cookware not being properly cleaned. There are also fairly extensive pre-arrival checks and a £300 card deposit required, which felt somewhat out of keeping with the type of property and stay. The loft-style bed may not suit all guests.

De ligging, openbaar vervoer, de tuin.

1. De gasboiler in de slaapkamer, naast het bed, maakt veel lawaai bij het aanslaan. 2. Geen lavabo voor het poetsen van de tanden. 3. Geen koffielepels aanwezig in de keuken. 4. Vanuit het hoge bed in de kleine slaapkamer kijkt men in de grote slaapkamer. Dit is een gebrek aan privacy in de grote slaapkamer. 5. Krakende vloeren, waardoor iedereen wakker wordt als iemand 's nachts naar het toilet moet.
