We had a great stay at VAUX and would happily stay here again. The location was excellent and made it easy to get around. The apartment was spacious, clean, well organised, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was also incredibly helpful and kindly allowed us a later check-out because we had an evening flight, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

The only downside for us was the housekeeping schedule. Our apartment was serviced on the fourth day, and by then it was starting to feel like it could have used a refresh, especially with bins and bathrooms. As it was described as a serviced apartment, we expected more frequent housekeeping, and even cleaning every second day would have made a big difference. One other suggestion would be the bedroom layout in the three-bedroom apartment. The master bedroom with the king bed and ensuite was great, but the room with the two single beds was noticeably larger than the room with the queen bed. Swapping the queen bed into the larger room and moving the two single beds into the smaller room would make the layout feel more balanced and practical for families or groups.

The property manager Joffre was very attentive, helpful and understanding. The property is located in a very trendy part of Colombo, with easy access to restaurants and shops. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are well equipped and it was a really enjoyable stay.
