Large house close to the city tranquil setting

The space is really big and spacious. There are many beds available and it’s a really comfortable stay for a big group of people. There’s also entertainment available. If you have the habit to wash laundry during your stay, there is washing machine and dryer available and a few clothing racks available to hang up your laundry. It was really useful for a big group of 7 of us. The owner of the property is also really nice to keep on checking in on us. The owner also made sure we’re comfortable with steps and steep slopes right after we booked the accommodations so we know what to expect when we reach. Even during the stay, the owner made sure to check if we need anything else. It was a really welcoming and warm stay here!

The house was comfortable, clean and mostly suited our needs well. The surrounds (Knocklofty Reserve) and views were terrific, wildlife delightful and we love the local Hill Street grocery store. Great to have some milk supplied and a few pantry items available, always much appreciated and super helpful. The host was easy to communicate with and provided good instructions

While technically close to town, this part of Hobart is very hilly so not an easy walk back from the city but on the upside, it makes for great views. Our group was ok, but the access to the property is super tricky which needs to be clear for anyone with mobility issues. Once inside, everything is accessible on the main level. Most cars would struggle with the driveway access which is very steep but there was enough street parking for us not to worry about using onsite parking. There are rules about noise which resticts use of the balcony and signs about indoor noise monitoring but I'm not sure why that is necessary. A few small maintenance issues which I've notified the host about which should be easy to fix.

The hosts were excellent communicators, very accommodating and generous. The house is a fantastic layout that would suit any variety of groups small or large. We had eight with us, and everyone had their own space. The location has stunning views, is in a very peaceful quiet area, and is close to the restaurant/bar strip of North Hobart. The facilities in the house cover every need and weather pattern. We had a great trip, and would stay there again. Thank you.
