The Boathouse - Freycinet Holiday Houses

Good location, quiet neighbourhood, 10 min drive to Freycinet National Park. Lots of parking and space inside the house. Would be great for two or three families needing their own space. Comfortable beds. Great bathrooms and showers. Three toilets and two kitchens, so would be great for bigger groups. Washing machine and dishwasher were very handy. Property agents responded quickly and were proactive with their information.

WiFi was very, very slow. Throw pillows and fabric couches need a clean - they smell musty. Kitchen appliances and crockery were dirty or scratched up. Would be difficult to cook in this house with the appliances as they currently are. Cutlery and bowls/plates were fine. A whole colony of ants got into our breakfast that was within plastic containers, so make sure that everything left on the kitchen bench is well sealed. Raised this with the property agents and was told "Regarding the ants, due to the natural setting of the property, it’s not uncommon for some wildlife to enter indoors while seeking shelter or food. We recommend storing food in airtight containers and keeping it in cupboards or the fridge whenever possible."

Excellent location near wineglass bay and frecinet national park. Spacious accommodation.

Tv remotes did not work (batteries needed replacement)

Very spacious and a good, quiet location. Facilities were as listed and I would recommend this stay especially for a family. Our little dog was very happy.

The second TV didn't work and when we reported it there was a quick response to check it, however it needed to be replaced and that did not happen in the week we were there. As we had 2 teenagers with us it would have been good to have it.

Good location.

Too expensive. Needed an update and a good clean.
