Ella's Place Salang Tioman

The location is exceptional! It is a well-kept property by a friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in an AC unit right on the beach with our own deck, a couple chairs and a hammock. Some folks who were in a fan unit said it was very reasonable (temperature-wise) for sleeping at night, so AC may not have been necessary. The sea breeze is always there, cooling it off. There are no high-end finishes, so don’t expect resort-life, but it was fabulous. We borrowed snorkel gear and headed straight out from the property where we found a wonderful coral garden and lots of tropical fish. One day we arranged (with Mama Ella) a boat that took us out to a 3 snorkel spots where we saw so many tropical fish, lots of coral as well as a sea turtle and a reef shark. Breakfast at Ella’s was good and it’s a short walk along the path to grab your other meals while you stay. Bring cash for the island, only a couple/few places will take a credit card.

Its a cozy beachfront chalet. The family that manage the resort are very kind, and attentive, it makes the whole stay wholesome. Also as the resort at the end of the beach, its very quiet, cozy and tranquil. You could nap on the many swings by the beach at noon with the breeze.

The aircond chalet can be better and the chalet is 10 mins walk from nearest cafe but tioman is not for those who rushed. I enjoy the walk, and the family that manage the resort always offer to send us..

A perfect place to chill, unwind and beautiful beachfront views. 🥰 Bilik bersih Paling penting sekeliling chalet bersih dan tenang . Owner dan family pun baik sangat ii melayan kami and kids naik motor 😂. Amik sekali trip snorkelling & berkayak. Tekong bot sangat friendly dia layan je kita and kids.. Tq Aiman and khai (mybe lupa nama) 🥰 Will repeat soon !

Not much to complain about. Just a small suggestion for improvement. it would be great if the chalet could provide a few more facilities such as extra cups/mugs, mineral and an electric kettle for guests’ convenience..Tapi okay je sebab ada sediakan air panas tapi kena datang amik dekat reception. Other than that, everything was good and we enjoyed our stay.
