Ella's Place Salang Tioman

The location is fantastic, right under the palm trees and directly on a sandy beach. There are plenty of places to relax on the beach, from chairs and tables to hammocks. As the property is at the end of the road, it is very quiet. The huts are simple and not very large. Our hut did not have air conditioning, but there are also huts with A/C and a refrigerator. The à la carte breakfast is good. Our luggage was transported both on arrival and departure, which was very convenient. At Ella’s Place, you can book various activities, including snorkeling trips, which we can highly recommend. Fins, masks and snorkels, as well as kayaks, are also available for rent. Ella also arranged our return ferry to Tanjung Gemok for us. The family and staff are very friendly. We were always given friendly and helpful advice and received good service throughout our stay. Credit card payment is possible.

It was a little unfortunate that there were not many opportunities in the evening to meet other guests at Ella’s café and exchange travel experiences. However, this was probably simply due to the other guests during our stay and is certainly not something Ella could influence.

Quit far from restaurant n convenient shop.. But its ok.. Really dont like hustle during vacation.

It is nestled in a quiet area of Salang (just a 5–10 min walk from the restaurants and shops), and you get your own private beach view, complete with idyllic hammocks on coconut trees. It’s a family-owned resort, so everyone is friendly and makes you feel right at home!

It can get really warm in the afternoon, but that’s just Southeast Asia. Get an aircon room if you can’t take the heat.

Really amazing location, you can kayak and snorkel from the beach in front, the family are super lovely and helpful, I had banana pancakes on the beach most days, there are hammocks and chairs to relax on, you can arrange snorkel trips with them too, it’s further away from the rest of the village so it’s nice and quiet

My room didn’t have aircon but I knew that when booking, something to be aware of, the room is basic but clean and comfortable
