Aloeron at Patatsfontein Stay

Marinke takes care that you find this hidden gem safely and we were in helpful contact befor our arrival. The breathtaking view is amazing. Standing under the outdoor shower with this view into the mountains is phenomenal! We enjoyed the wood fired Hot Tub during the sunset and this was really a romantic experience for our anniversary day! Everything you need is there. You only have to bring your food and don´t forget the drinks!

Everything was perfect for a Nature Getaway! Two Sun Loungers on the terrace would be nice, also a net for cleaning the surface of the water in the Hot Tub a little bit.

Eine tolle Unterkunft inmitten der Natur. Man fährt bereits vor Ankunft mehrere Minuten über einen Schotterweg und wird dann für die letzten Meter von den Gastgebern begleitet. Nach einer kurzen Einweisung vor Ort ist man dann für die Dauer des Aufenthalts komplett für sich alleine und gefühlt von der Außenwelt abgeschottet. Man hat einen tollen Blick über das Tal. Die Herausforderung den „natürlichen“ Whirlpool mit Feuerholz aufzuheizen hat uns gut gefallen und am Ende des Tages haben wir den Sternenhimmel aus dem warmen Wasser genossen. Die Kommunikation mit Marinke war hervorragend. Sie war sehr freundlich, hat uns proaktiv Informationen zukommen lassen und immer schnell geantwortet, wenn wir sie kontaktiert haben.

Peace and quite

Love this place. They thought of everything and you can just bring your food and drinks. Bring your own ice as there is a large fridge and can not purchase on site. Further more it's a lovely neat and beautiful place. The tent is neat and everything is modern, even the cutlery is modern. We will definitely be back for a longer period
