Beautiful and charming detached house located in a quiet neighborhood close the festival. (Also ideally located to visit Brussels, Antwerp, Mechelen, Leuven, Gent, Bruges) The house has been completely renovated and has a nice garden with terrace. You'll find all the comfort you'll need to relax after a long day at the festival or visiting Flanders beautiful cities.

For our purpose the place was perfect, just 15 min away from a big music festival.. the place provided a good bed and all we needed was available to make good breakfastBut if i would have rented this as family holiday it would be a different story.. the property has a lot need for small maintenance…Nothing mayor is wrong, but its a lot of small thing.. ( broken door handles, flush button of toilet missing, kitchen door closed with paper fold etc)

We arrived at the property after minimal contact with the owners and no greeting or information left regarding the heating, rubbish collections and local amenities. The property is in a fairly poor state of repair, which is not reflected in the images used for the advertising. Some areas of the house were very dusty and had clearly not been cleaned for many weeks. The toilet in the main bathroom was missing the cover for the flush and a huge hole hole was left, exposing the inside of the cistern. The flush had to be operated by reaching into the cistern and pulling on the mechanism. There was a lovely looking bath tub that could not be used as the plug was broken and did not hold the water. The two sinks were also missing plugs so could not be used properly. The downstairs toilet seat was being held in place with some sealant and was very loose. The television in the living space could not be used as there was no remote control to be found anywhere. Two items of clothing were ripped by a damaged kitchen chair and a nail sticking out of the bedroom floor. The garden space was also in a similar state, with old and damaged furniture that was extremely weathered. On the day of departure we had no contact with the owner and just left the key under the front door mat as we had found it. This could have been a much more pleasant experience with some more care and attention.
