Beautiful, bright and clean little apartment with nice views including the tower of the town hall. Great location -close in, but on a quiet residential street. Multiple picture windows facing the river to give a light filled, panoramic effect. There is also a view in the larger bedroom. Desk in the main room off the dining area. Very close to a grocery store and a bakery to stroll down to pick up basic supplies, or a lovely french baguette, morning croissant or pain au chocolat. Bakery also has nice prepared sandwiches to take with you for a picnic in the two parks within a block in either direction. The local tourist office is next to the bakery and grocery store to help you plan your stay and has an interesting display of photos from the devastating WWII bombings and reconstruction of the town. Remember buses are free and an easy way to explore around the town or surrounding area. Any issues can be resolved 24/7 with an AI chat bot that communicates with the owner, so was actually helpful. Also, you can request on the chat to have a human contact you instead for things that have greater complexity. Right on the river and less than a block to cross bridge by the city hall and charming shops and cafes in town. Or go a block in the other direction and stroll towards the beach and port, easy walking distance. Restaurants and parks a block away in either direction.

The front door key, if the door is locked from the inside (only happened once in our 21 day stay) can be tricky and require some jiggling. The older widower on the ground floor has an apartment with a musty scent - a bit off-putting when you first arrive, but no worries - it fades as you go up the stairs. The apartment itself is fresh, modern and clean and has no scent. No lift, and the typical French stairs, so heavier bags can be challenging.

Die Lage der Wohnung war super, sehr zentral und fußläufig war alles Notwendige erreichbar. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet und geräumig genug für drei Personen.

Parkplätze vor der Wohnung waren eher Mangelware, und man musste meist in anderen Straßen sein Glück versuchen. Das Geschirr war nicht komplett sauber, und es war nur ein Topf und eine Pfanne vorhanden.

La propreté, la déco, l’agencement de l’appart, les équipements, tout était high tech. L’emplacement, proche de tout, tout est faisable à pied. On peut se garer sur la route en face (même si ce n’est pas clair).

Tellement dommage qu’on ne puisse pas parler à une vraie personne ! Je n’ai pu être en contact seulement avec une chatbox qui est une intelligence artificielle… on ne peut donc pas aller bien loin ! un numéro de téléphone a été mis à disposition mais ça tombe sur le répondeur et on ne m’a jamais rappelé ! Pourtant il y a quelques petits soucis dans l’appart mais personne n’est venu voir ! L’autre hic est l’odeur immonde du palier. Ensuite : Un lit ultra ferme et confortable (top) l’autre : bien trop mou. Un plaid à disposition était couvert de poussière. A noter : au 2e étage sans ascenseur. Détail important qui n’était pas précisé.

Location was great, property was spacious with good decor

There was no sheet on the main bed on the first night which meant we had to sleep on a nylon matress cover, very unpleasant. The next day a sheet was put on the doormat, it was one thing having to take all the bedding off at the end of our stay but I didn't expect to have to make the bed too! Smoke alarm had been disconnected and left on a side table.Odd bathroom layout.
