The apartment was absolutely beautiful and we had a fantastic stay. The location is perfect for the beach and the bus stops just on the corner (Place du Suede) which is very convenient for exploring Calais. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our week long stay, although we would have liked a washing machine but not having one wasn’t a big deal. There is a supermarket less than 5 minutes away and the patisserie a few minutes walk to the left when leaving the building is a must!
Having stayed in a different apartment in this building on a previous visit, I cannot recommend it highly enough for the location and ease of travelling round.
The only issue I found here (which is not the fault of the hosts) is there are local cats who use the garden as a toilet. It wasn’t a big deal for us but something to be aware of if staying with young children.
Some of the outlets didn’t work or were difficult to get adapters into but we found plenty of working ones if we moved things around.
The kettle is not cordless and needs to be unplugged to fill with water/fill cups etc. Not a massive issue but cord is quite short so needs to be on top of microwave to reach the socket; this socket was a little loose.

Easy to book and great communication. Clean, tidy and welcoming. A few minutes walk to the market square with plenty of restaurants and bars as well as the local market. Close to historic buildings and a slightly longer walk to the lovely beach. Easy to park on the road outside the apartment.
We really enjoyed our stay here to sample the delights of Calais.

Nice place, beds are comfortable
when in the bottom bedroom it was very noisy from upstairs, very creaky , one of the electric socket was hanging down, so very dangerous , very loud when it’s raining from the skylights

Proximité centre ville, plage, port
Les équipements sont vétustes et mal adaptés. L'isolation phonique est limite (pas d'isolation entre chambre RDC et celle située à l'étage). Le revêtement sol de la chambre étage est déchiré Les raccordements électriques sont pour moi hors normes. La propreté à l'arrivée était également à la limite... La fixation des meubles de cuisine et leurs états sont limites.
