Fishermen Cottage - 5 star location- 90sq garden -2 living room- 2 bath room -pets friendly -comfortably sleep 5-6 people -50 percent off monthly -self check in

We were advised almost immidiately after booking, by the owners, that this property was unavailable and shifted onto another one of their properties. What did I like? Location, we chose this place because it is 5 mins walk to my family home and we were shifted just around the corner.

I cannot comment on Fisherman's Cottage properties interior, but the exterior didn't look attractive with ripped net curtains. The property we were moved to had a conceret court yard garden, which was no good for the baby or the dogs. The property was dated, and not 'cottage charm' more 90's single person abode. We had to contact the owner to ask how to use the gas hob - turns out we had to turn the ignition switch on at the inside back of the adjoining cupboard. The shower wasn't of good quality and the toilet seat was loose. We all difficulty connecting to the wifi. And the complimentry handwash, shower gel etc had been vastly watered down. There was a pod coffee machine- but no pods. And 2 each of sugar, coffee and tea bags - the booking was for 3 adults for 3 nights, might've been nice to have been able to make a drink on arrival. Didn't feel comfortable cooking in the property. I have stayed in several properties in Deal over the years whilst visiting my hometown and parents - this has been our least favourite.
