Ik vond deze overnachting echt top. Je zit midden in het centrum bij alle hippe zaakjes en kan als je wilt veel lopend doen. Hostel zelf is heel schoon en relaxt. Personeel ook super aardig en het gratis ontbijt is top.

Een dag had ik in de ochtend een tour om 8:30, wilde van te voren ontbijten maar die gene die het ontbijt maakten was erg laat aanwezig, waardoor ik erg moest haasten en niet om 7:00 kon ontbijten zoals eerst werd aangegeven.

I loved the whole place, the plants, the decoration. The staff was super nice and helpful too. Also the rooms are air conditioned. And each bed goes with a curtain so you have your privacy. I slept very well and enjoyed staying there.

This was one of the most expensive places we stayed in Indonesia and also one of the worst. The good things: location. Most of the staff were nice, if not particularly informative.

So many things — the AC was almost worthless. It was unbearably hot in our room even running it all day. There are SO many mosquitos on the property. Even just walking from our door to the exit, I got bites every time. There is no escape since all the public spaces are “outside.” The bathroom, which is outside, is also filled with mosquitos, so we were incredibly careful about keeping the door closed all the time. The sink basically didn’t work so we used the shower to wash our hands. The breakfast was easily the worst meal we ate our whole time in Indonesia, so we only did it once. I recommend getting breakfast at one of the many cafes in the area instead. The ladder to the bed is a bit scary and hard to climb if you have to pee in the middle of the night. There is also nowhere in the loft to charge anything or put a book or your glasses. The light up there is plugged into a panel that is breaking the wall and flickers if you move in the middle of the night. I would also strongly recommend earplugs. The call to prayer is loud, but the more prescient issue was INSANELY loud music late at night and early morning (literally heavy bass at 7am Sunday). It was nearly shaking the walls from somewhere nearby.
