Good location to get around Yogakata. Hotel facilities were good, it did feel higher end to other hotels.
Staff were super nice.
Noice from outside if you are road side, there can be people singing with speakers at the cross roads outside, wonderwall for about 3 hours straight until 10pm, then prayer call at 4.15am.
Pool is pretty shaded so almost cold from 4pm.

Room is spacious, pool is excellent. We also noted the cleanliness is great, towels are still ok, not great, but acceptable. The location is also almost perfect, walkable to Pasar Bringharjo/Malioboro, but for smaller kids will be a bit too far. The other positive is the location accessible from multiple direction, so if Malioboro is closed, we can easily reach to the hotel from other direction. AC is good.
The shower: it cannot be tilted, so it's hard to use the shower. This one really need improvement.
The water also so tiny, especially the cold / normal water. Please fix this.
The pool towel cannot be brought to the room, which is uncommon for 5 star hotel. You can always track the towel by asking the guess to note the pool member if the guess would like to bring the towel to the room.

Location was great, it was quiet and good sized room. Garden and pool area was very relaxing and therapeutic. Staff were very friendly
The hallways were smelly, I think carpets or fabric has absorbed the smell over the year. Generally the hotel feels old and need a facelift. Rooms could be cleaner. It was not dirty but somehow some places were dusty, the connecting room doors has thick dust.
