We loved our stay at the Meridini Hotel in Taksim as it was very clean, the staff were always so helpful and the location is great, not too turisty but close enough to everything important. It really exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days while attending the Visa Application Centre (VAC). We could literally see the VAC from the hotel's front door, across the street. The staff were great and communicated well via WhatsApp, which was very helpful.

Loved our stay. Staff were awesome, super friendly and accommodating with everything from early checkin to late checkout, directions, questions, etc. rooms were clean, cleaning staff were great. Lovely budget hotel, doesn’t get better for the price and location - away from all the Taksim noise and crowd but close enough to everything. I wouldn’t recommend for families with really young children if you plan to walk, it’s a small uphill walk to get to Taksim. Otherwise, great stay.

⸻ The hotel is decent overall, but it could use some improvements. The bathrooms need a more thorough cleaning, and the towels should definitely be replaced with new ones. The walls are not soundproof, so you can hear a lot of noise from the neighboring rooms, which can be frustrating. The bed is quite small for two people and not very comfortable—if you’re taller than 180 cm, your feet will stick out. There’s no public transport nearby, so you’ll need to walk about 15–20 minutes to reach Taksim. Be prepared, as the walk is full of steep hills and valleys. Breakfast is okay, but it’s the same every day. A bit more variety or a buffet-style option would make a big difference. On the positive side, the staff are fantastic—very kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The only downside was at reception: when I reported finding hair on a towel right after check-in and asked for replacements, the request wasn’t taken seriously, and the towels weren’t changed. We only used the hotel for sleeping as we were out most of the day. Overall, I wouldn’t book again mainly because of the lack of nearby public transportation.
