Excellent stay in Waters Edge. Very clean room with easy check in and very near Rathmullan beach. Would highly recommend this hotel to any visitor.

Splendid location on the edge of Lough Swilly with view from room across the waters. Room was warm clean and comfortable with adequate space for a two night stay. Rathmullan within walking distance. On site restaurant was good as was breakfast at Belle’s in Rathmullan. Perfect for visit to Fanad lighthouse. More like a room in an Airbnb with no on site hotel reception or public space other than the bar/ restaurant. But check in system worked ok.

The remote staffing is a new wrinkle to me, but it worked fine. Rathmullen was a bit slow on Monday night, but that’s to be expected.
Hotel was comfortable.

Room was quite basic but comfortable ...BUT...did not have any chair/s to sit on; did not have any refrigerator; the restaurant supposedly operating, was closed all the time; there were no staff on premises and Wotif did not respond to messages. A Zombie establishment in a pretty location.
