    Location - hotel was located at karawamachi but in the middle of the neighborhood. I went during cold season, ended up taking uber for most of the days just to rush to or come back from Shijo. Its a walk kind of far but near kind if drive kind of situation. Within walking distance, there were convenient stores and restaurants. 1 raven store seems popular, there was queue everyday i pass by. 1 shrine, heard there's event during special days. Street light was dim during night time. Hotel - There's one washing machine in all 5 levels. 4th floor level has a washing machine and a dryer. That was not a good one to use. Both machine seems old. I did feedback to reception and was told that there will be a replacement. Hotel is an open concept. My room was at 5th floor (top floor). Was very cold to step out at night to do laundry. Lift was fast. Toilet paper, towels, tooth brush, tooth past bits, hair bands, hair comb etc were placed at lift lobby. There's some in the room drawer as well. Room - comfortable beds and pillows. Air con was the individual type, not central air con. Air con was clean. Toilet fan has a switch outside, can turn off if too cold. Felt the air con filter paper can be replaced. Can see lots of dust on the filter. Water pressure was good. Hot and cold pressure was fine. Toilet bidet was clean and flush was good. Not much of TV program. Overall - find price for the location was a bit too much. Hotel not even near to any public transport. There was a charged before check in. Hardly remembered but roughly above $**. I have stayed for 8 days. For me, i will find other choice of hotel in Karawamachi for next visit.

    Location is central to the heart of Kyoto. This is a no “frllls” location where there is no daily room make up i less more than 4 days. The bed was ok but no other place in the room to work or relax. Its functional and you get what you pay for
