Jumaboy Guesthouse - Transport, Rooms & Hiking Tours

Lovely guesthouse set near the end of the fourth lake. The host was very helpful, and organised our transport (the driver was also fantastic and very safe). Perfect spot to position yourself for a night or two in the Seven Lakes area.

We ended up at Jumaboy "hotel" on the no.3 dam by mistake! We were booked at the guesthouse at the other end of the lake but had driven past this twice without realizing it! The hotel is practically brand new, so was clean, functional and quiet. The Dinner-bed- breakfast price was very reasonable and the food good. It was a unique experience staying at such a special place. Jumaboy ( senior) was a delightful host. The trip to 7 lakes must rate as one of the world's great road trips and staying midway is very special.

There was nothing not to like! Just be sure which of the 2 jumaboys you are booking! They are separated by 2 or 3 km of spectacular ( and somewhat terrifying) road!!

Nice quiet location . Spaceous , bright and airy rooms. A good place to chat with fellow travelers. Overall , it is a very well -organised family run business.

The location is superb, easy walk to 4th lake (4 mins away) and the property is super peaceful with river running through it. Staff (run by Muslin and his brother) were absolutely lovely and really helpful. Lovely carpets and cushions to sit on and watch the river go by. And really interesting people from all over the world - it has a lovely atmosphere there.

Toilets had a really ‘challenging’ smell about them and the meals are adequate but not brillant. But everything else made up for this - it didn’t in anyway detract from a superb stay.
