Comfortable bed and well located for shops and restaurants

Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. Nice welcome of lovely cakes. Ideal location to walk into centre of Stornoway. Parking right outside.

The shower room could benefit from an upgrade.

Lovely place to stay

The cabin is located right in the town centre with a very easy short walk to anywhere in Stornoway. It is a good-sized cabin and has all the things for a stay. The bed is very comfy, there is a fridge and all the utensils. The cabin even has a sauna, although I haven't used it. It is nicely designed and very cozy. The host added some very delicious homemade brownies as well, which was a lovely and welcoming touch. Check out is 10am, but bags can be left at the bus station if needed.

The bathroom could be a bit cleaner, and it is a bit dated compared to the rest of the cabin, so more attention to detail would be good. It would benefit from some more hooks to dry towels, and some shelves in the shower to put things. The outside deck overlooks onto a car garage and a busy residential street, so it can get a bit noisy, but I guess it's a small disadvantage for such a central location. Other than this, it is a lovely property.

We had such a lovely stay at Creed Cabin in Stornaway and will definitely return. The property is so thoughtfully laid out both practically and aesthetically, making for a very comfortable stay. Everything we needed was provided and the gorgeous sauna was the perfect treat we looked forward to returning to, after our days out. The bed is so comfortable and the shower perfect for our needs. We were grateful too for the basic provisions provided on arrival, as well as some home baked brownies, which were delicious. The location of Creed Cabin is ideal, with everything from the castle, the town centre and a supermarket, just a short walk away. We made an excellent choice!

Cozy and welcoming!

We loved everything about our stay! It’s well located and has a sauna, which was perfect because we came for a surfing/wild swimming trip - nothing better than a hot steam after a session in the cold water! The bed was very comfy and engulfed us like a marshmallow after days full of adventure. My dog found the place very calming and relaxing too - it certainly helped that there were towels and bowls available! It’s very clear that the owner has put a lot of thought into designing and curating the space. Everything is thought through, everything is inviting and made us feel at home on Lewis. I am looking forward to coming back!

Great place to stay in Stornoway

Great location - very close to Lews Castle, also very close to the port if you are getting the ferry over, and close to shops etc. The hosts were very friendly and left us some lovely homemade cookies, as well as milk and other bits, which was very much appreciated. Their communication was also very good. My husband and I really enjoyed the sauna!! This was a real bonus. And the property was well equipped with everything needed for cooking etc.

Cosy and comfortable!

This was such a lovely place for a stay on Lewis. It's been very thoughtfully designed, is incredibly comfortable and cosy. I'd actually love a stay here in winter to take proper advantage of the sauna after some long frosty walks! The hosts were friendly but unobtrusive and there were lots of personal touches such as fresh flowers, cookies left for me (delicious, home-made) etc. I would definitely recommend

Fantastic!

Fantastic accommodation! Plenty of kitchen utensils should you wish to cook meals in the cabin. Additional little extras such as rocky road, face masks and milk were a lovely touch. The sauna was a great way to relax. There is also a little enclosed area outside where you can sit. Overall myself and my partner were extremely happy to have booked our stay at Creed Cabin, and it will definitely be our first choice of accommodation anytime we revisit Stornoway.

Supreme!

Everything needed was provided regarding utensils, hospitality was spot on. Left us tea/coffee, cake, salmon pâté and whiskey as well as milk and butter and others. So thoughtful, met every expectation and the sauna was the cherry on top!

Regarding the bedding, too many pillows we didn’t need for the bed size but due to small storage space there was no where else to store them - a small critique in the grand scheme of things!

An amazing place

Creed Cabin was fantastic, very well kitted out with quality products, comfortable, lovely enclosed garden and seating area, fantastic Sauna and central to Stornoway. Very comfortable and cosy.
