Great position right on the Esplanade within walking distance of shops, restaurants, wharf and grassy hill. Good layout with the master having an ensuite and the second bathroom very conveniently located for second bedroom. Verandahs front and back allowing sitting choices.

No welcome information or tourist guide. Wifi wouldn't connect, despite information sent by owner to try to rectify the situation. There were not enough bowls or mugs for six, we washed between serves, nor outside or dining chairs (had to keep moving them around to make up number). The front verandah chairs were terribly uncomfortable; it could have been the perfect setting for a sunset meal if some thought had gone into the furniture. BBQ should be moved up onto verandah, not placed at gate. Couch for 3 adults, fortunately we had camping chairs, or we would not have been able to sit together in the lounge. No bedside lamps in any of the rooms. Curtains in the second room did not cover the whole window. No start up tea, coffee or sugar, salt pepper, and only a small tube of shampoo (single use) in each bathroom. Had to hunt for more toilet roll and buy our own garbage bags. It was a shame - whilst each of these deficits were nothing in themself, when combined, led to disappointment despite the location of the home. All easily fixed for relatively little cost, if feedback taken on board. Given position, and layout, this could be a 10 out of 10 property.
