Coconut Beach House & Cottages

The cottage looks exactly like the photos. Everything is very clean and bedlinen appear to be new. The kitchenette is user-friendly for easy meals. We loved the feel of the outdoor cooking. Sofia is very friendly and helpful. The place is well kept and cozy. Brilliant, quiet location, close enough to all walks and cafes.

There were no keys. We were unable to lock the house, as the previous guests took the key with them. While it did not feel unsafe, it was a little uncomfortable to leave things when going out for whole day. I presume, this will be fixed soon. The place would benefit from fly screens. We would have also loved a clothes line or drying rack or hooks; i.e. anything to hang up clothes and towels. An extra towel for the bathroom floor would have been beneficial to avoid water running into the main room. We forgot to read the fine-print - there is no fridge. A chilly bin with a large bag of ice cubes is provided; you need to buy fresh ice cubes every day.

The location, the view and the cleanness!

N/A

The property is in a beautiful location surrounded by greenery. It is very private with the other cottage and house located a distance away. We had no response to our messages to the property owner but Sofia the manager was fabulous and super responsive. The location was close to many of the nearby attractions.

We weren’t expecting a fully equipped house but considering the location and the need to self cater due to limited eating options in the area, we were disappointed with what was supplied. It was very, very basic and instead of a mini fridge, an esky and one bag of ice was supplied which quickly melted. It would have been difficult to prepare a main meal with the utensils provided. I tried contacting the owner numerous times prior to our trip to better understand what would be supplied but got no response. There were no screens on windows and doors which luckily wasn’t a problem for us being winter but would be an issue at other times of the year.

Good position, nice site, nice building.

No table & chairs. No fridge, jug or toaster. Only one saucepan. Vanity mirror sitting loose on vanity basin. Toilet seat incorrectly installed. Bathroom needs to be grouted. Needs screen between vanity basin and shower. Very hard bed. No real barbecue as advertised. No towel rails
