Alena Star House, Eco Retreat With Pool, Prime Position

Close to Cape Tribulation boardwalks, cafe, grocer. Quiet, comfortable, good amenities.

The house is very spacious, very well equipped and beautifully decorated with the attention to detail. There is a collection of books, board games, darts, a huge TV with Netflix next to a huge sofa (not so good if you come with kids 😉) - so even if it rains (as it happened for us) there is no chance to get bored. The house also has very fast Internet access - not something you expect in the middle of the rain forest. The garden is also stunning - so green and well kept. We'd love to stay there longer!

Our stay was too short...

We loved our stay, the house was so comfortable and the gardens were beautiful. Travelling as a family it was great to have a 4 bedroom house so plenty of room for everyone and we really enjoyed the pool area, either swimming or relaxing with a book and looking out into the Daintree. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. And the gift of bread, jam, fruit and bubbly was so lovely. We highly recommend Alena Star house.

we like the accommodation but unfortunately it was no air conditioning and I had to ask to have fans and I understand that in the tropics things go wrong. It just wasn’t happy. I had to chase him up to get fans like they should’ve been there the day we arrived I’m sorry and the lighting wasn’t very good. There was no lights due to the same situation of the fans. no fans in the rooms look the host were beautiful people you know they they bent over backwards for us.

The surroundings were beautiful. Sit in a beautiful setting.
