AMARE Luxury Apartment

Great location. Well maintained. Great staff.

The outside space is nice, but on the streets and not very private. This could be a little clearer in the listing.

The apartment is cosy and nicely decorated and terrace is very comfortable with a nice view. It is located near the centre and beach, but far enough from the crowd. The parking card was also appreciated.

It was very difficult to get an invoice. They said they couldn't do it, but after an unpleasant discussion, they promised to send it the next day. When we asked for dish soap and a dish towel, they said we should buy it as it is an apartment, but provided it anyway the next day. We stayed for 4 nights with only 1 big and small towel each. When I asked for new towels, they said we could get it by paying 15 euros per person. I found this a strange condition for a 'luxury' apartment, that didn't have a washing machine.

Det var inte välstädat när vi anlände (framförallt bristande dammsugning). Toalettpapper ingick inte (en rulle fick vi, när vi frågade om mer så sa dem att det är självhushåll så det köpte vi själva). Tvålen i badrummet var slut.

- Overall lack of basic supplies expected for a multi-night stay in an above-average priced apartment: only one roll of toilet paper provided, pepper shaker was completely empty, very limited laundry detergent (barely enough for one load), baking-paper roll nearly finished (only one sheet left), no rubbish bins or trash bags until specifically requested, hands shampoo container empty. Although the host quickly provided the missing amenities, we found it very annoying having to ask for such basic supplies. - Although the apartment had loads of small open shelves and boxes to store clothes and personal stuff, we didn't like the fact that there was no wardrobe.
